02008 Description And Summary : |

When you open please check dtc memory of steering wheel electronics to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so cylinder 5 above knock threshold and injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02008 Possible Causes:
02008 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02008 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
