The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start please check dtc memory of engine ecu or change exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
02001 Possible Causes:
02001 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02001 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
