Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448) causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold runner bank 2, high temperature also secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
020 Possible Causes:
020 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 020 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
