The problem is about secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle . So for next cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical is the final reason of the code. |
020 Possible Causes:
020 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 020 Code
- Inspect all the connections cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
