Diameter in engine transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles transmission control unit, incorrect coded . So for next turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high is the final reason of the code. |
01998 Possible Causes:
01998 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01998 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
