The problem is about linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake control module, coding fault and wait then event data recorder request, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
01992 Possible Causes:
01992 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01992 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circut high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
