When you open pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to b+ or change nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
01991 Possible Causes:
01991 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01991 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
