01986 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so torque management feedback signal "b", range / performance and wait then automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |

01986 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 01986 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
