Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 3, probe 1 signal too slowly or accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high will delay your vw fault. |
01985 Possible Causes:
01985 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

- Inspect all the connections hc adsorption catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
