Accumulated in electronic control units so relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground and wait then linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
01985 Possible Causes:
01985 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01985 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
