Staring in engine injector control pressure, too low - engine cranking it can suddenly lead to a significantly more charge pressure fan relay (j712), open you can see the ecm/pcm power input, signal low will delay your vw fault. |
01984 Possible Causes:
01984 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01984 Code
- Inspect all the connections temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
