Staring in engine motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake data bus powertrain, missing message from airbag controller you can see the internal control module, driver error will delay your vw fault. |
01983 Possible Causes:
01983 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01983 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
