Diameter in engine ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high you can see the turbocharger 2 control module (j725), high temperature is the final reason of the code. |
01982 Possible Causes:
01982 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01982 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
