This code were stamped on VW Engine case relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so internal control module: eeprom error or data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump is the final reason of the code. |
01977 Possible Causes:
01977 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 01977 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 3 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
