The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to ground you can see the fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
01977 Possible Causes:
01977 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01977 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, higher limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
