The problem is about evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage it can suddenly lead to a significantly more transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high also turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
01974 Possible Causes:
01974 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 01974 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
