Diagnosing engine bar with nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 2) causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system shift lock, short to b+ . On the other hand accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high is the final reason of the code. |
01973 Possible Causes:
01973 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01973 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
