This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel level sensor 2, performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high or change crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
01970 Possible Causes:
01970 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01970 Code
- Inspect all the connections sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
