The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for torque support mount, short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake bank 2 sensor 1, internal resistance implausible or fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
01964 Possible Causes:
01964 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01964 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control motor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
