The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle actuator control system, sudden low air flow detected also o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
01962 Possible Causes:
01962 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01962 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, signal too slowly
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
