This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel level sensor 2, circuit high voltage retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vehicle speed sensor 'a' / 'b', correlation you can see the please check dtc memory of adr control module is the final reason of the code. |
01958 Possible Causes:
01958 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01958 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
