This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle angle signal stuck on it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to ground and nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 1) is the final reason of the code. |
01954 Possible Causes:
01954 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01954 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
