Diagnosing engine bar with intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground . So for next motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
01944 Possible Causes:
01944 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01944 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
