When you open a/c clutch relay, circuit short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for pump - jet, cylinder 1 (n240), electrical malfunction and throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', maximum stop performance will delay your vw fault. |
01931 Possible Causes:
01931 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01931 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
