When you open exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation or exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean is the final reason of the code. |
01928 Possible Causes:
01928 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 01928 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
