Staring in engine please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground or supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
01926 Possible Causes:
01926 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01926 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
