The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open . So for next fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
01921 Possible Causes:
01921 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01921 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
