01918 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle plate control 2, malfunction or accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low is the final reason of the code. |
01918 Possible Causes:
01918 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01918 Code
- Inspect all the connections control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
