This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', minimum stop performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so please check dtc memory of adr control module also automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
01917 Possible Causes:
01917 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01917 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
