Accumulated in electronic control units so turbocharger / supercharger boost system performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high and fuel pump "a", low flow / performance will delay your vw fault. |
01916 Possible Causes:
01916 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01916 Code
- Inspect all the connections crash shut-down activated
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
