01914 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition switch run position, circuit high and radiator exhaust control 2, short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
01914 Possible Causes:
01914 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 01914 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
