01914 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to b+ also throttle actuator control system, forced engine shutdown is the final reason of the code. |
01914 Possible Causes:
01914 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01914 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
