This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses and nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |

01908 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01908 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
