The problem is about bank 1, system too rich at idle run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed throttle angle signal stuck off or change engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
01902 Possible Causes:
01902 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 01902 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
