This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data-bus powertrain, implausible message from transmission controller It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too largely or valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
01899 Possible Causes:
01899 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01899 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
