Staring in engine data bus powertrain, implausible message of the steering wheel electrics It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) also o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |
01886 Possible Causes:
01886 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01886 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
