Diagnosing engine bar with relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent or change air cleaner inlet control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
01874 Possible Causes:
01874 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 01874 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from central electronics
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
