When you open malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so valve for pump - jet, cylinder 6 (n245), electrical malfunction also exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit is the final reason of the code. |
01872 Possible Causes:
01872 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01872 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
