When you open pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit electrical malfunction and throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01871 Possible Causes:
01871 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01871 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
