The problem is about exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean also leak in air intake system is the final reason of the code. |
01868 Possible Causes:
01868 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01868 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger 2 control module (j725), high temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
