When you open data-bus powertrain, missing message from brake control module retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 or exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
01867 Possible Causes:
01867 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01867 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift lock, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
