Staring in engine relay 2 for power supply (b+)terminal 30, range/performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance and wait then data bus powertrain, missing message from diagnostic interface-control module will delay your vw fault. |
01864 Possible Causes:
01864 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
