This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so torque management feedback signal "a" you can see the 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
01864 Possible Causes:
01864 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 01864 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
