This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor signals swapped bank 2 sensor 2 / bank 2 sensor 3 it can suddenly lead to a significantly more please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu also ignition coil 'l' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
01863 Possible Causes:
01863 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01863 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
