Diameter in engine throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel pump "a", low flow / performance or throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected will delay your vw fault. |
01863 Possible Causes:
01863 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01863 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, system too lean off idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
