The problem is about ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ or supply voltage for fuel injector group a, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01863 Possible Causes:
01863 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01863 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug control module 2 (j703), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
