This code were stamped on VW Engine case direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit range / performance and wait then control module throttle actuator position, performance will delay your vw fault. |
01862 Possible Causes:
01862 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01862 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift up/down wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
