The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cylinder 1 above knock threshold the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles clutch torque adaptation 2: adaptation limit reached or throttle control: airflow at idle too low will delay your vw fault. |
01860 Possible Causes:
01860 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01860 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel level sensor 2, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
