01860 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf or change data bus powertrain, missing messages is the final reason of the code. |
01860 Possible Causes:
01860 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01860 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
