The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil 'j' primary control, short to plus also ignition coil 'h' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |

01858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01858 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
