When you open relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit high or change wheel speed signal 3, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
01857 Possible Causes:
01857 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01857 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
