This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle plate control 2, malfunction and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |

01852 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01852 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
