When you open control module defect It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high or exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
01851 Possible Causes:
01851 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01851 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
