When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed and o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
01849 Possible Causes:
01849 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01849 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
