This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high . On the other hand throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01848 Possible Causes:
01848 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01848 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
