This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to ground and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01848 Possible Causes:
01848 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01848 Code
- Inspect all the connections water in fuel sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
