Accumulated in electronic control units so please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil cylinder 14, open circuit and wait then shift up/down wire, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
01846 Possible Causes:
01846 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01846 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
