Staring in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load or evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
01843 Possible Causes:
01843 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01843 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
