This something to do with the intake camshaft timing torque management feedback signal "b", range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed internal control module: eeprom error and vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
01842 Possible Causes:
01842 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01842 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management request input signal b, high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
